To study, analyze, and apply the English sound system, the principles of phonetics and phonology, pronunciation rules, and the phonetic transcription system. Students will also practice articulating English speech sounds and transcribing them using phonetic symbols, and will design appropriate pronunciation learning activities tailored to the learners’ contexts
